The Drinkwell® Platinum Pet Fountain is the ultimate in style and design. The Platinum utilizes the same innovative watering system as our other Drinkwell® Pet Fountains, featuring the patented free-falling stream of water. This entices pets to drink more, keeping them happy, healthy and hydrated. The Platinum features a new snap-on lid to prevent accidental removal, a pre-filter to catch any large particles before they reach the motor, and a submersible pump for nearly silent operation. With the same quality that consumers have come to rely on, the Drinkwell® Platinum is a culmination of 10 years experience in making pet fountains. Drinkwell fountains are compatible with all US 110v outlets only and are not to be used with 220v international voltage.

I have an 8 month old pure bred Bangle cat. The problem is she will not stop peeing on one spot on the dinning room rug. I have tried every punishment I have read about and it does no good. Any suggestions on how to get her to stop short of KILLING her. I am ready to glue her business end shut.
HELP!!
I have also tried a new rug in the dinning room and she still goes to the same spot. It is beginning to ruin the hardwood floor under the rug.

Austin, TX, April 25, 2012 DogsBite.org, a national dog bite victims’ group dedicated to reducing serious dog attacks, announces a neighborhood safety campaign with a new brochure in preparation for National Dog Bite Prevention Week, May 20-26, 2012. The safety brochure, “How to Keep Your Family Safe from Dangerous Dogs,” contains 5 panels of important information, including images of dangerous dog breeds, and the back reserved for U.S. postal mailing.

The DogsBite.org safety brochure offers a 3-step guide to help protect individuals, their family members and cherished pets from potentially dangerous dogs that may be located in their immediate neighborhood. The steps include: How to identify dangerous dogs and the person(s) responsible for them, how to report violations, what types of violations to report, tips about collecting evidence and descriptions of the most dangerous scenarios to always avoid.

The DogsBite.org safety brochure comes in a 30-pack so that it can quickly be distributed to neighbors, friends or a classroom. The safety brochure set is available for purchase at a low cost at the DogsBite.org website:

Staying Safe from Dangerous Dogs – Safety Materials
http://www.dogsbite.org/staying-safe-dog-bite-prevention-materials.php

In addition to the neighborhood safety brochure, DogsBite.org is releasing a series of safety flyers about dangerous dog breeds that present three powerful messages to parents, persons who work with children and community activists. Each safety flyer contains photographs to help people identify the two most dangerous dog breeds, as well as national statistical data from DogsBite.org. The safety flyers are “print-ready” and free for download and distribution.

About Us

DogsBite.org is a national dog bite victims’ group dedicated to reducing serious dog attacks. Through our work, we hope to protect both people and pets from future attacks. Our website, www.dogsbite.org, was launched in October 2007 and contains a wide collection of data to help policymakers and citizens learn about dangerous dogs. Our research focuses on pit bull type dogs. Due to selective breeding practices that emphasize aggression and tenacity, this class of dogs negatively impacts communities the most. Our website hosts important dog bite studies, U.S. dog bite fatalities and other key bibliographies. In the Legislating Dogs portion of our site, we offer examples of breed-specific laws (state-by-state) and documentation of the constitutionality of these laws. The Victim Realities section provides a glance into the unforgettable stories victims leave behind and much more. DogsBite.org operates out of Austin, Texas and can be contacted via: 512-650-8510 or press@dogsbite.org. Research contributions and active website participation stems from individuals that span the United States of America and across the world.

The greatest benefit of small size dogs is that they are quiet friendly to the smaller size apartments and rooms. Hence they get easily used to with the environment of your preference. It is also observed that toy dogs or small dogs are much happier, cuter and active in comparison with other large dogs such as bull dog and German shepherd. It is probably because of their naughty and cute nature. But, being small does not mean they are small in their thinking and intelligence. In fact, there are some small dogs which are quiet intelligent and even intelligent than typical large dogs.

According to general statistics and measures, it is observed that small dogs are easy to train and live with. On the other hand, typical pet dogs are quiet hard to train and also take too much time in learning. This is probably because of their lack of intelligence which is quiet awesome in small dogs. Also, it is really easy to travel with your small dogs. They are easily carry-able and do not make too much hassle at get together and in parties and journeys. Small dogs are also very easy in the sense that they do not require too much overlook.

Due to their very chilled and naught nature, small dogs can also ruin up your house. The greatest disadvantage is that they can rarely get caught. One of the most important thing required for training your small dog is firmness and friendliness. The more you are firm with your small dog in its training, the more quickly your dog will be learning. Some small dogs are stubborn and hence require too much patience of the owner in order to get trained well. Being small in size, they also require regular periods of training or teaching. Training everything at once might mix up their mind.

Small dogs also show signals and signs of anger and happiness. You should be good in noticing and responding to such signals and signs. Small dogs are very keen observer and require your attention whenever they desire. The better observer and teacher you are, the better small dog you can get. Sometimes, small dogs get crazy and do not stop shouting. They usually do so when they interpret any stranger or anything unusual. You will need to try your small dog gradually and slowly so that you can get an obedient small dog.
